Chicago's teenage indie pop band Purple Apple performs

The lovely and talented ladies of Purple Apple performed their original song ''Shut the Door'' on WCL Thursday.

These girls have been writing music since they were 9 years old and have been performing around Chicago since they were 12. The band consists of Olivia Eigel, lead vocals/guitar (age 13); Madison O'Brien, bass/keyboard (age 14); Devin Ullery, the girl's babysitter, drums (age 25); and Nonie Andersen, lead guitar (age 14).
