Get in shape with Vince Vaughn's mom

Shea Vaughn is a personal trainer and wellness coach who uses yoga, Pilates, tai chi, martial arts and dance in her fitness routine. She's also Vince Vaughn's mom.

Vaughn created SheaNetics, what she calls an "East meets West lifestyle and exercise practice" that boils down to commitment, perseverance, integrity, self-control and love.

She says her students helped with the program because she could watch their reactions -- and their bodies' -- with the different routines she brought to them. A mix of those led to SheaNetics. Vaughn said her students kept coming back. "They said, 'We don't know exactly what you are doing but keep doing it. We feel great.'"

Vaughn also studied martial arts and eastern philosophy, which led to the SheaNetics Five Living Principles of Well-Being.

She recommends her clients workout for 50 to 60 minutes two to three times a week. The other option is to do 20-minute segments daily with cardio.
