Trend #1: White Skinny Jeans
"White denim may not necessarily be a new trend, but it is definitely one that's hot for this spring and summer this year. This pair is from J.Crew and is a classic, versatile white jean that you need to have in your closet. It is the perfect update to the black pants we all rely on so often, these are a great neutral, too. They work well if you want to dress up for a night out or keep it things more casual like Ashley. She's wearing a flowy silk floral top (florals are huge this spring, too) and neutral pair of chunky tan sandals."

Trend #2: Patterned Denim
"A fun printed jean is really on trend at the moment. From florals to geometrics this look is everywhere right now and they are a great opportunity to have some fun with your outfit. If you're shy about wearing prints, particularly on jeans or pants, I recommend starting with something really delicate, like this floral pair from Topshop that Julie is wearing."

Trend #3: Boyfriend Jeans
"People often think that the boyfriend jean is reserved only for girls with height. However, worn the right way, anyone can look great in a pair like this. Melissa is a tall, so we've got her wearing a flat sandal, but if you're more petite, make sure to add something with height, like a chunky heel to give the look some balance. For this look we played off of the popular jeans and white t-shirt concept, but elevated it a bit with a lace top instead (which is also another trend you can get a lot of wear out of this spring!)."

Trend #4: Colorful Jeans
"Another big trend we've been seeing this season is color! You don't have to stick to just basic blue. Opt for a bright yellow or tangerine as seen on our model Bianca here. Colorful denim is ranging anywhere from neon, to pastels, to bold brights, so there is something for everyone when it comes to this trend. Bianca is wearing a pair from Urban Outfitters, and they are a great affordable option at $68."

Trend #5: Chambray Shirt
"Denim is showing up in several forms this spring, in dresses, vests, and shirts. A chambray shirt is a wardrobe essential that every woman in Chicago should have. It's incredibly versatile, and can be paired with a fun printed pant like you see on Kelsey, or tucked into a skirt for a more professional look. My favorite way to wear it is to throw it on over a maxi dress and leave it unbuttoned. The accessories and layers you've already got in your closet will work very well with a chambray shirt, so if you're looking to get new life out of what's already in your wardrobe, add one of these."
