In Kerry's first children's book, "All You Can Be: Learning & Growing Through Sports," he explains how he is living proof that with hard work, determination and sacrifice, any dream big or small can become a reality. The book was co-written by MLB.com reporter Carrie Muskat, and illustrated by 30 Chicago Public School fourth graders who provided drawings exemplifying their own goals for the future. A portion of all proceeds from book sales will help support children's programs run by the Wood Family Foundation. It can be purchased at BarnesandNoble.com, Amazon.com , The Cubs Store Wrigley, Costco and indie retailers such as Anderson's Book Shop and the Bookstall.

The Wood Family Foundation

Wood Family Foundation (WFF) is a non-profit 501c3 organization that was founded in June 2011 by Chicago Cubs pitcher Kerry Wood and his wife Sarah. The WFF works to improve the lives of children in and around Chicago by raising funds and awareness for its children's programs and other children's charities they support.
