WCL's What's New: Regina Taylor & "Crowns" the musical

We had the actress, director, and playwright Regina Taylor in studio today to talk about the 10th Anniversary production of her award-winning musical, "Crowns."

Regina has reset her show to take place in Chicago for this production, making it's story of African American women, their church hats, and the individuality of the human spirit all the more relevant for local audiences. The cast was also on set to give us a preview of music from the show too!

"Crowns" will run at the Goodman Theatre from June 30th - Aug. 5, 2012.
