Details: This weekend a great street festival is coming to the streets of Wicker Park! It will be the 8th annual Wicker Park Fest. Heshima Fashion Challenge (July 26)

Details: Ten up & coming Chicago fashion designers will compete in a fashion design competition to support refugee girls and young women in Nairobi, Kenya striving for independence. Heshima Kenya's Maisha Collective is an income generating project, in which these young women produce unique hand-dyed scarves. The designers must create a look centered around one of the Maisha Collective scarves two weeks prior to the event. The designs will be unveiled at the event and available for purchase during a silent auction. Billy Dec, Bianca Alexander of Conscious Living TV, Matt Lorenz of ML Design Studio, and Christina Hanson of Nordstrom, will be judging the competition. Sheffield Garden Walk and Festival (July 23-July 24)

Details: This festival is hosted by the Sheffield Neighborhood Association and allows attendees to view nearly 100 gardens in the Sheffield area. The Chicago French Film Festival (July 22-24)
